Product Description

  • Attacking Players wanting good accuracy and power
  • Made in Taiwan, 6.4 Shaft, Hard Cored Technology
  • Square-Head Frame for Larger Sweet Spot
  • Power Racket with Extra Slim Shaft

The combination of integrated square-head frame and anti- orsion slim shaft provides a larger sweet spot. The smart weight distribution and resilient shaft make it easier to serve and control the shuttlecock, achieving more powerful and effective attacks.

Pyrofil

Pyrofil Carbon Fibre aids playable time till fatigue, in addition to better control and racket durability for all styles of play. Originating from the car industry, the Japanese Pyrofil ultra-light carbon fibre material and its composites, enhances handling, control and shock absorption through high-intensity, ultra-light bonds. The additional benefit is a core strength, resulting in a reliable racket construction you can trust for years to come.

Tri Formation

Allowing players to reach their maximal swing speeds and hit shots with greater power, the Tri formation system incorporates Sword, Aerodynamic and Power Box shapes in specific regions of the racket head. Hitting is optimised through the ‘Tri Formations’ integrated technology of reduced air resistance (Sword shape), efficient aerodynamics for acceleration to maximum swing speeds (Aerodynamic shape) and the ability to hit with more power as the racket is stabilised in an anti-toque design capable of withstanding higher string tensions (PowerBox shape).

Tri Formation Only in the thruster F (3 sections in head of racket) combines 3 structures in 1, Sword, Aerodynamic Shape and Power Box technology all in 1 ( Three different frame structures are rearranged and integrated to optimise the hitting, frame characteristics and overall performance)

Anti Torsion System

Anti torsion system technologies enables players to hit at maximum muscle power, through reduced power loss as energy generated by you is efficiently passed to the shuttle. Acting through a small angle twist in the ferrel, the smaller angle of torsion (twisting) in the shaft material helps the handle not twist, providing optimal power transmission and anti torsion performance as power is not lost but efficiently passed on.

Hard Cored Technology Hard cored techonology provides players with optimal racket handling helping to increase your shot responsiveness. Inspired by helicopter rotor blade technology, a structure of multilayer carbon fibre and its composites, retains racket stiffness but minimises material size, reinforcing racket handling and performance.

Buying Guide

Badminton Rackets Buying Guide

The key question to ask firstly is what style of player are you, or what type of player do you want to become?

  1. Power Attacking
  2. All Round
  3. Fast Reactions to Rallies
  4. Control and Touch, by moving players around the court to create space

As a general guide for your playing style below is the kind of racket you'll want to look at purchasing:

In simple terms is means this:
Player with Explosive Backswing Hitting = Stiffer Shaft needed as it'll unload faster for more power.
Player with Slower Backswing Hitting = More Flexible Shaft needed so that it'll unload fully at impact.

If you're still unsure what to choose for yourself, we'd recommend going for a medium flex badminton racket to minimise the chances of choosing incorrectly what's right for you.

Weight:

Weight can make a real difference to reaction speeds, and power behind the hit of a shuttle. Too light a racket and it won't go far or powerful enough. However too heavy a racket and you'll find you'll be reacting too slow in fast flat rallies, where reaction speed is everything.:

Most rackets are weighted around 3U (85-89g) or 4U (80-84g), this is because it's a good weight balance for players to hit hard and also be able to react fast too.:

Typically singles players will use heavier rackets 3U (85-89g), this provides the player with more stability and accuracy, with a little more weight for power behind it, without compromising on racket speed too much, as quick racket head speed isn't needed as much in the singles game:

Doubles players however will usually want lighter rackets, the most popular weight for this being 4U (80-84g), this is because the Badminton Racket will offer more speed and quicker reactions in around the net and for defence against smashes.:

Racket Strings Used & Tension:

Again like the grip, this is customisable on any racket. However do look out for racket tension ranges on the product as this could potentially limit your ability to have the racket strung at a desired tension.:

For a full breakdown on strings and tensions, see our buying guide specifically on this.:

To put it simply however, if you're unsure what to choose when buying a racket you like, either go for the “Original Strings” option or “Stringers Professional Decision” for which we'll choose the string that best suits getting the maximum performance out of the racket for you.:

Powerfull and quick

I would like to think I'm a decent club doubles player. I regularly play league Badminton. I'm an attacking / physical player, but need the flexibility to perform the widest range of shots possible as partners change all the time. You need to know this about my style as it will help get some context. I was looking for a new racket and this one had good but mixed reviews. I took the plunge and immediately felt a difference. My power shots are where I feel I have an advantage, as not many smashes come back. But when I smashed with this racket I realised I'd been missing out. It makes a different sound to any other racket I've had (an that's been many) but the speed off the strings was fantastic. Clears needed checking as initially they were going long and drives had some extra punch that I've lacked in the past. However the real revelation was the short and mid-court shots where this racket has given me some extra confidence, allowing me to produce more accuracy on the drops and cross court feigns. It's surprisingly quick too for a head heavy racket, which really helps when you find yourself in a firefight at the net!
All in all this racket is fantastic, it's expensive but if your passionate about your game this will bring something extra to the party.
I had mine strung to 27lb with Ashaway Zymax 68 TX string. Great service and value through Badminton HQ
