Product description
- Lightweight Shoe Fast Speed on Court
- Upper: DigitKnit + V-Tough. Midsole: Light Resilient EVA + ENERGYMAX3.0 + Carbon Power+ TPU + Solid EVA Outsole: VSR Rubber
- Double Mesh on Upper to make it breathable
- Amazing Cushioning around the ankle
With the same mould of our top shoe, the SH-A920, the A922 is a developement with softer upper material which delivers great comfort. This Double-Mesh-Material is very breathable and the V-Durable-Technology reduces the abrasion even with the softer material. Cushioning, stability, comfort and grip round up the high performance of this model which is vailable in modern female and male colours.
DIGITKNIT
Designed to promote the comfort of your feet by reducing sweat accumulation in footwear. The upper DigitKnit mesh material increases air ventilation while also providing comfort and stability, with this knitting technology applied to Victor badminton shoes for the very first time.
Digitknit For comfort, the mesh in the material, for air ventilation when playing and getting sweaty (For the first time, Victor applies knitting technology to badminton shoes. The upper is designed to provide both comfort and stability.
EnergyMax 3.0
EnergyMax 3.0 provides you with greater foot support and comfort while enhancing the speed of your rebound ability during quick directional changes and movements needed in fast-paced rallies. Cushion damepening located at the heel and mid/back shoe sections from original EnergyMax technology is improved through a new generation of highly elastic material in EnergyMax 3.0. This new material combined with the shock absorbing energymax system, results in a 22% increase in rebound ability and 6% increase in shock absorbency, dramatically enhancing the resilience, comfort and support in your footwear.
EnergyMax 3.0 Same as above but better! The new generation of highly elastic material, increases rebound ability and strengthens shock absorption.
Light Resilient Eva
Light Resilient Eva aids the reduction of lower body muscle fatigue while improving the lifespan of footwear. An upgrads of the original high resilient EVA, the new Light Resilient EVA is 19% lighter with 16% more durability and 5% increased flexibility. This technology is incorporated into a highly resistant midsole helping you to match agile paces with quick reactive footwork. The lowered muscle burden experienced enables you to maintain intensive rallies for longer without fatigue, trusting that your footwear will more than match your needs.
Light Resilient EVA (second best) Same but its an extra light version ( New highly resilient and durable midsole. it improves the lifespan of shoes reduces weight increases flexibility and lowers muscle burden during intensive exercises which allows one to make agile movements quickly. ( A new completely upgraded lightweight, highly resilient and durable midsole, which has a 16% in durability when compared to the original high resilient EVA. It improves the life-span of shoes, reduced 19% of weight, flexibility increase by 5% and lowered muscle burden in intensive exercise, which allows to take agile paces quickly.
Neo Duplex
Neo Duplex technologies within shoes enables players to trust in their footwork, experience less foot fatigue while offering great value for money from increased shoe durability. Neo Duplex achieves this through a new dual-density wedge structure located in the midsole. This structure combines a top cushioning layer of ENERGYMAX3.0 with Light Resilient EVA beneath, enabling better shock absorption in this joint-friendly combination. These cushioning layers have a specifically designed layout in accordance with the principle sport biomechanic tangent angle of 7°, providing balance to the angles and movements of your knee and ankle joints as you play badminton. Overall Neo Duplex provides greater foot support, comfort and shock absorption, raising your ability for quick directional changes with less fatigue experienced as matches progress.
Neo Duplex In the sole of the shoe – Its an extra layer that combines with the energymax system, that helps the whole sole to be shock absorbing (Joint- friendly combinations of energy max 3.0 on top and light resilient EVA sole beneath by the special biomechanical layout of these cushioning layers) New dual-density wedge structure midsole combined the ENERGYMAX3.0 on top, and Light Resilient EVA beneath, in accordance with the principles of sports biomechanics tangent angle of 7°, to balance the moments and angles of knee and ankle joint during exercise, achieving energy absorption and stable support together.
V-Tough
Offering players increased footwear durability and value for money, footwear with V-Tough techonology is fitted with super-wear resistant material within the inner surface of the toe area, improving both the durability and resilience of shoes. In wear level testing, the super wear-resistant technology applied to the toe was 16 times more resistant than average PU leather.
V-Tough Like the V-Durable but it's on the inside to protect the shoe inside as well as outside (The inner surface of the toe is made of super wear-resistant material which greatly improves the durability and resilience of the shoe
Carbon Power
Carbon power technology decreases the torsional (twisting) strain on your foot arch, limiting the effect of fatigue as you play. Carbon power technology provides midsole stability and decreased foot arch torsional strain via an inbuilt three-dimensional carbon fibre sheet.
Carbon Power Carbon Graphite Plate like on Yonex Shoes, stops twisting in the mid section of the show (The three-dimensional carbon fibre sheet provides midsole stability and decreases torsional strain on the foot arch.

BUYING GUIDE
Badminton Shoes – there's loads to choose from, what are the key things to look for when choosing?
- Shoe Support
- Comfort & Fitting
- Weight
- Player Level
- Shoe Durability
- Looks
1. Shoe Support
In our opinion probably the most underappreciated aspect of choosing badminton shoes. Look at the amount of players our there that need knee supports later on in life! Why is this often the case....well usually its because of either bad technique or poor footwear.
Health and well being must come first.....so don't try and save money by going for shoes that doesn't have good cushioning and shoe structural strength. Go for a respected Badminton or Shoes brand that really know what they're doing.
You can see on all our Badminton Shoe pages, the level of support the shoe offers is graded, use this as a guide.
A number of shoes will also reference support technology such as graphite plates and power cushion shock absorbers. Look out for these are they're designed to release pressure of your bodyweight when moving.
2. Comfort & Fitting
These are technically 2 aspects but effectively they cover the same thing. We list all shoes stating how true the fit of the shoe is, both in terms of length and width. This is particularly key for players with narrow or wider feet than the normal person.
Pretty much all Badminton shoes these days are designed “ergoshape” for stability, which provides flexibility around the toes area. This shape enables more explosive movement when moving forwards and backwards.
In addition to this, look out for the “Designed For” Feature shown in our description section, this will sometimes say “Comfort”. Where this is the case, it means when we've checked the shoes out, and the main strength/focus on the shoes is to provide comfort to the foot when playing.
Good fitting shoes will minimise the risk of ankle injures or foot blisters. That said, it's sometimes worth purchasing insoles to help with fit further or ankle supports to stop yourself rolling your ankles if you have done it before playing.
It's best to allow for a small amount of room in the front of the shoe so that the toe is not pressured when lunging and stopping sharply.
One final point, remember to allow your shoes to “wear in”. We recommend to wear your new shoes around the house for a week to allow them to soften and stretch a little. Don't wear your court shoes outside however - this will degrade the grip and bring dirt and dust onto the court.
3. How Lightweight they are
So firstly, the brands annoyingly don't provide weight measurements for their shoes. A lightweight shoe is great for players who need fast movement, however this often comes at a cost in reduced shoe support. A lightweight shoe generally offers less durability too, as it's often not as substantially made as shoes with strong support.
On our product pages for Badminton Shoes you can see under the “Designed for” feature if it says “Lightweight”.
Lightweight shoes generally are suited to smaller or lighter players on their feet, who have excellent technique in their movement.
4. What Player level the badminton shoes are intended for
We list below each shoe the player level from 0-100, in a graph bar. Obviously if you're a lower level as a player you can still go for a higher level shoe. It simply shoes up to what level of player the badminton shoes can be used for.
Typically some of the shoes we sell are even used by the world's very top players.
5. Shoe Durability
This is infinitely difficult to measure as it's so subjective to how often the shoes are used, the quality of movement for the specific badminton player and the surfaces as well as the way the shoes are treated.
Typically, it's the more you spend....the most durable the shoe is likely to be. Also shoes that are “Designed For” “Strong Support”, will be more durable than a lightweight slimmer lined shoe.
6. How it looks
Obviously everyone wants to look good when playing.....this one is down to personal preference!
Our most popular brand for Shoes with our players presently are the Yonex Badminton Shoes.
