Our returns process and policy couldn't be simpler!

What's exactly your policy?

A simple 30 days returns period is available from purchase date, this covers any reason needed to return, excluding warranty. Full details are shown below.

How do I return my order?

Returns Steps 1-4

1. Contact Us
Please email with your order number (starts with BHQ) and the item(s) you wish to return. Please also include the reason why your are returning. Should the return be approved you will be sent a link to download a Collect Plus returns label, which is charged at £4.95 and deducted from any refund.

2. Package the Return
Pack the item up including either the original invoice or a note with name and order number disclosed. Make sure not to put packaging tape on the product box/packaging itself.

3. Attach a Delivery Sticker

Place the Collect Plus Returns Label on the packaged box, if you've mislaid this, feel free to call us (+44238 000 23 88) or email ( and we can email a replacement.

You are also welcome to arrange the return by your own means too (Royal Mail, Personal Courier, etc, however it is then the responsibility of the sender to ensure the parcel reaches BadmintonHQ).

4. Drop at the Local Shop or Delivery Company
If UK Based:
Drop the packaged item at a local Collect+ Plus shop – go to to locate your closest shop.

Returns & Exchanges Policies:

Check you meet the below requirements before returning:
1. Items are within 30 days of purchase date.
2. Items need to show no signs of use & returned in original packaging - this includes the original plastic wrapping on the grip for rackets.
3. Your item hasn't been customised - e.g a grip applied to the handle. If a re-string has been applied by BadmintonHQ then the item can still be returned, but any refund will not include the cost of the re-string. Returned rackets that qualified for a free re-string will also carry a £7 service charge.

Goods returned to us which do not match the criteria listed and are not in the condition of which they were delivered, will not be accepted as a return. Items will be returned to you and BadmintonHQ reserves the right to charge you for any reasonable losses incurred.

Wrong Item Sent

In the unlikely event that you should receive the incorrect goods, please contact us directly within 7 days to let us know via Please also be ready to provide your order details and images of the incorrect item(s) received.

We will require the return of the incorrect goods before dispatching the correct item(s). If a tracking number can be provided for your return we can have the goods sent out right away, but please note that if we do not receive the return you will be charged accordingly.

If there is an error on our part, we will cover your returns postage charge. Note that we cannot promise this without previous permission, so please ensure you do contact us beforehand. Items must be in the condition of which they were received. Customisation, removal of tags or grip packaging is acceptance of the item and will void any return. 

We again kindly ask that you do not put any sort of tape directly on the product or its packaging as you will be charged for any resulting damage

If the item received is faulty or is a potential warranty issue?
Email us with details first – with details and a photo ideally plus your order number with us.

If you are unhappy with the condition that your racket arrives to you in then please email photos to Please be aware that post purchase customisation or removal of the plastic handle-wrapping constitutes the racket as used and signifies acceptance of the rackets delivered condition. 

How long does it take to get my refund?
Depending upon the courier delivery speeds, we always sort all returns within 1 week of receipt, so we generally advise to plan for 2 weeks unless an unforeseen issue comes up.

Do I get a full refund?
If items match all the return requirements then the cost of the item will be refunded, minus the £4.95 Collect Plus charge if this service has been used. Shipping costs are not included in the refund unless an incorrect item has been sent by BadmintonHQ.
