I’m returning the badminton after a long break having not played since my teenage years. I had been using my old 15 plus year old steel racquet but they felt bag. The strings were old and the racquet soooo heavy. I did some research and the Arcsaber 11 came out as a great option for a beginner. I couldn’t agree more my shots are more accurate and more powerful. It took a little while to get used to the extra power but soon it helped me improve my game.
As a men’s doubles player this racquet works really well for me. The medium flex works well to help get power in the fast drives, combining the racket with BG80 strings, taking power off the shuttle is really comfortable and I feel I get a lot of control.
If you are a backcourt player that prefers a headlight racket then I would recommend the 3U, as smashing is not this racquets strong point, and that extra weight would help with power. But in the mid/front court I feel this racket is best on the market.
The racket is absolutely great but the stringing is really rubbish in terms of quality and tension.
Bought this for our grandson who is an allround sportsman.
Racket has improved his game due to balance and weight.
Excellent build quality and made to last
I only used it once but the first impression was promising. It doesn't make me a better player, but it can compensate for some weaknesses.
The product arrived within a couple day, which is amazing.
I was expected the racket to be similar to the Arcsaber 11 pro since they show the same specifications but some how It gives a vibe of the Yonex Astrox series more. The racket is longer than the Arcsaber 11 pro with a bit stiffer shaft.
While playing in doubles, the difference between the two is not that noticeable. I just feel slightly more solid in control with DriveX10. But for comfortability and all smash shots, I would prefer the Arcsaber11 pro over the DriveX10.
The racket requires a bit strength and technique to use it effectively and safely due to the stiffer shaft and raw, uncomfortable feeling when hitting. However, The control shots for this racket is exceptional, which makes me prefer DriveX10 in single over doubles game.
I bought two of these (by mistake, as I had only intended to buy one) for my six year old grandson. He had previously been using a full size racket, which made it hard for him to return low shots, because he kept bashing the ground with the racket. When he got used to the Junior size racket, he liked the smaller grip, the ability to return low shots and increased manoeuvrability of the smaller, lighter racket.
The racket case is great, although a little too large for my six year old grandson's Junior size rackets. However, he was delighted to have a 'grown up' size case. I did look for a Junior size case, but was unable to find one.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson who was delighted with it. He is fairly new to the sport and loves it - says it’s perfect!
The customer service provided by badminton q is second to none, we purchased the YONEX ARCSABER 73 for our future daughter-in-law. I’m with just a few days left before Christmas, we realized we had the wrong colour, I contacted the customer service team and within three working days, they had delivered a new racket and collected the original one, the transaction was seamless. For anything badminton, I will always use badminton HQ. Top service.
A Christmas present for my grandson who is 14 years old. He plays whenever he can and asked specifically for these shuttlecocks!! He is very competitive so I’m assuming they will be what he needs to play a good game !!
Nothing wrong with the shoes but you don't need to keep bothering me for a review of a Christmas present that was only opened 4 days ago and won't be worn in a game until tomorrow.
