Yonex Lightest and Fastest Badminton Rackets

Yonex produce rackets for a while range of playing styles in badminton, but one particularly popular area amongst players are the lightest and fastest rackets available. Often players in particular beginners, juniors or developing players prefer to play with a lighter racket that delivers them speed and reactions around the court.

In particular for Yonex - their light range have become known as the “Flash Boost” or “FB” badminton rackets. These rackets have been designed to be particularly light for players.

Generally any rackets under the weight level of 79 grams is considered a super light weight racket. This translates to a 6U of 2F weight category badminton racket. One of the key things to watch out for with the Yonex lightest rackets is that you must not string the racket tension too high as otherwise there’s a serious risk of the rackets cracking and breaking during use, this is largely because the density of the racket in the graphite isn’t as strong due to how lightweight the racket has been made.
