Probably these days, now the most popular badminton grip type. Overgrips or overgrap as it’s called by Yonex, is designed to provide a thin layer of grip over an existing standard grip, to either thicken an existing grip up, or provide additional tackiness for when playing. Badminton overgrips are very easy to replace, and suit players who are playing a lot but don’t want to have to make large scale full replacement grip changes each time.

In particular badminton overgrip is generally also more tacky than standard grips, giving players greater control, responsiveness and power when in matches or competition.
